The A Train Borough BookBags is more than a design to me — it represents where my story began.

East New York, Brooklyn is where I grew up and where I was raised. It holds some of my best memories, but also some of the hardest moments of my life. I had a troubled childhood, experienced things that forced me to grow up fast, and I lost my father while this was still the place I called home.

Before I eventually moved away, East New York shaped so much of who I became. The A train, Euclid Avenue, the blocks, the stations, the noise, the culture — all of it is connected to a part of my life that I’ll never forget.

Creating this bag was my way of turning those memories, the pain, the love, and the resilience into something meaningful. Every detail represents a piece of home and a piece of me.

This isn’t just a Brooklyn bag.

It’s my childhood.
It’s where I survived.
It’s where I learned how to keep going.
It’s where my story started.

East New York will always be a part of me.
